Rhonda ponders kindness…

“Be kind to yourself. God thinks you’re worth his kindness. And he’s a good judge of character.” –Max Lucado

Love is kind… Interesting-I didn’t feel excited about how kindness was going to help me with my life. Yet, this morning I read about Christ’s kindness toward me-about how Christ feels I’m worth being kind to.

There was a service where everything had gone awry… I came away feeling pretty discouraged. What I thought would be funny was… not as much the melodrama, which was supposed to be interactive, was a bit too interactive as the kids took over the stage. Wow-The improve song wasn’t heard so people weren’t enjoying it.. Despite being discouraged during a service where everything had gone awry- God rescued us at the Altar! THANK GOD. This truly illustrated sermon about trusting God in disappointments and difficulties was capitulated with kids at the altar, kids learning to be in His presence and leaders speaking life and hope through prayer. We laughed and poked fun at what had happened…

Lord, help us to be kind to eachother and ourselves.
