How comfortable are you?

God thank you that you delight over us- You delight over me. Lord, captivate me- my attention so that my every motion and motivation brings you delight!

Tonight, our family is spending time practicing worshipping- worship music on- Immediately I feel God’s presence all around (Thank you God when I slow- you meet me there!) Julia wanted to worship- but is struggling with pride (not wanting others to see her worship) she asked if we have another worship cd- I gave her my prayer cd- she went to the basement to worship freely.

Yesterday Julia and I (and then Ellie later) talked about camp and her desire for Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We talked about why we need the Holy Spirit… I want her to be comfortable worshipping… to get all of God that He has for her. This week and next she’ll be in services. I want her to be blessed and have an amazing encounter with God, that she’ll know Him.

Camp provides springboards for growth. So excited for it!

Lord, I’m struggling just a bit with the transition between ministry and home life.

Peace and contentment O Lord! AMEN!

(From Tiff: You should feel comfortable enough to worship freely and not just during worship songs, but with your everyday lives. But we must make sure we don’t get too comfortable! We’ve got to keep stretching ourselves… get out of our comfort zones to do what God has for us… to get uncomfortable!)
