Rhonda reflects on camp: Part 1
As we prepared for worship service, I felt directed by God to inform the others that He needed us to pause during worship to give room for a move of the Holy Spirit. The kids were tender to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God moved amazingly! Many kids accepted Christ into their hearts, many were filled or refilled-it was incredible! The plan of service changed when we didn’t preach the sermon. 2 hours into the service, the alter time was wrapping up from testimonies of what God had done in their lives. During the alter time, I was honored to be praying for kids to press toward for an encounter of God. And I felt the Lord tell me to encourage the grown-ups, “the kids are fine, find your God-moment.” Many did. It’s is so humbling and exciting to work in the flow of what God is doing!
There was a small piece of me that was concerned about me not looking spiritual enough to lead kids through the “Break through” when I lead the service and very quickly the Lord said, “Did I not tell you- you heard me- to move the service in this direction?”
